Derek Crookes
Derek Norman Crookes (born 5 march, 1969)in Marian hill ,Crookes
is a former South Africa cricketer and played 32 one day international for South
Africa from 1994 to 2000. In residential cricket he played for Natal, Gauteng, Easterns , The Highveld lions. He is a right hand batsman.
He was educated at Hilton college.His first taste of
international cricket came against Pakistan in 1994-1995.Crookes was a
live-wire in the field and a decent batsman, these attributes made him regular
a regular member in ODI team.His achievement in ODI as a batsman played 32
matches scored 296 runs and took 25 wickets.Crookes retired from all forms of
cricket in 2005-2006.
