Pramoth Mahela de Silva Jayawardhane, famous as Mahela Jayawardhane is a famous
Sri-Lankan cricketer of today’s times and former captain of Sri-Lankan cricket
team. Born in 1977 Jayawardhane was educated in one of the most prestigious
schools the famous Nalanda College at Colombo the capital.
At quite an early age this famous personnel’s father introduced him to the
Lionel Coaching Clinic which was run by Nondescripts Cricket club in Cinnamon
Gardens to enhance his cricket skills. Mahela’s cricket innings started in 1994
when his school won under his captaincy. Mahela is married to Christina Malika Sirisena,
a travel consultant.
