Kumara
Chokshananda Sangakkara or rather popular as Kumar Sangakkara, is a famous
Sri-Lankan international cricketer. A former captain of the Sri Lankan team
Kumar is widely regarded as one of the best batsman Sri Lanka has ever
produced. He was born in 1977 at Matale Sri Lanka to Kumari Surangana and
Swarnakumara Sangakkara .He was brought up in Candy Kumar received his
education from Trinity College Candy an independent elite private boys school
situated in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. He has two sisters –Tushari and
saranga and an elder brother Vemindra all of them has made national level
achievements during their school days.
