Wessel Johannes
Hansie was a South African Cricketer and captain of the South African national
cricket team in 1990s.But sadly enough he died in a plane crash in 2002.He was
born on 25th September 1969 in the South African city of
Bloemfontein. He completed his education at Grey college , Bloemfontein. An
excellent all round sportsman he represented the then Orange fee State Province
in cricket and volleyball. A right- handed batsman Hansi Cronje was married to
bertha Cronje and has two siblings named Frans Cronje and Hester Parisons.
Despite being banned from professional cricket owing to his links with match
fixing Hansi was voted as the 11th best South African.
