38.   Take approximations only where it is required. In most cases, taking approximations will lead to some other wrong answer, which will surely be given as one of the choices. We tend to put it as right answer. According to my experience and my seniors advice, approximation should be taken only in the last step. In every other step, you have to be precise with calculations.
