Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India’s central agency authorized to conduct the Civil services examination, Engineering Service Examinations, Combined defense Service examinations, National Defense Academy examinations, Combined Medical Services examinations, Special Class Railway Apprentice, Indian Economic services examinations, Central Armed Police force. The formation of UPSC is on 1st October 1926 by the government of India .Its office is located in New Delhi. UPSC is amongst the few institutions which function with both autonomy and freedom along with the country higher judiciary and lately the election commission.
